Installation was great and was done by a highly skilled Spectrum contractor here at my house. I can't share too much about tech support because I haven't had issues that require me to call them. I am so happy to finally have steady, reliable internet service that doesn't disconnect. The service is as expected, and in fact better than expected because my speed test register at about 470 Mbps download, and 23 Mbps upload, regularly, anytime you run the speed test. I no longer have to deal with random buffering moments when trying to load internet pages due to intermittent disconnects like I had with my previous provider. I no longer get disconnected from my online games in the middle of the match. Virtually no disconnections ever like I was having regularly every day. I now have cable 400 Mbps download 20 Mbps upload and it is 1,000 times more reliable. What a fantastic switch I made to Spectrum. I had to ask for tech support multiple times over the course of the year I was with them. I switched to Spectrum from our previous ISP because I was having daily intermittent disconnection problems that made internet usage a nightmare. And now that this new representative has me on the phone, I owe MORE money because the taxes changed for the bill that I just paid for the second time. You know that thing you couldn't do unless you paid it off. To which I was told, I didn't pay off my account I just closed it. I was transferred to billing where I was told to close my account it would cost a specific amount. Each time I received a different answer to the same question. In one phone call, lasting over two hours, I was passed across several departments (none of which communicate with each other) and some of which were more than once. I do not recommend getting it with Spectrum.Ĭustomer Service: There is not a clear understanding of what the policies/procedures/practices are across the board. If you can't afford it outright, try and use affirm for a payment plan. It came with Apple tv devices that also have their own share of fun surprise costs. I have most streaming platforms so it was pretty much just there. TV: I received it as a part of a packaged promotion. I think there was maybe one outage, and it was in the middle of the night. Internet: the internet service I had worked well.
